Ingredients:
- 500g of chicken, diced
- 300g of basmati rice
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 inch of ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons of biryani spice mix
- 4 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 cup of water
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Heat the cooking oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute.
- Add the diced chicken and cook until it is no longer pink.
- Mix in the chopped tomatoes and biryani spice mix, cooking until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the basmati rice and water, then season with salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
- Once cooked, fluff the rice gently and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
